Memorial Day BBQ

We met at Freedom Park in Medford, NJ and it was a great time! We enjoyed hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill by Amanda's husband, Jason. There were lots of Military mommies there. I was there with my family, Amanda and her family, TaShonda and her family, Clarice and her family, and a few others who have yet to join our group.

The kids enjoyed the park, flying kites, kick ball, football, and bubbles. My husband, Rickey, ran with the kids and played some football. There were babies, babies, babies everywhere.

It wasn't too cold or too hot... just perfect and the food was outstanding! We had, as mentioned before, hot dogs and burgers, potato salad by Amanda, Chips, Soda's and water, Baked Beans, and watermelon.

It was great to have a chance to meet other spouses whose stories seemed to be similar to mine. The BBQ was great....the black bees...a little scary, lol, but all in all I'm glad my family came out to socialize. Thanks for the invite Tashonda!!!
